Urgent Care Nurse Role Summary
We are seeking dedicated and passionate Urgent Care Nurses to join our dynamic team in the South East Area.

As a vital team member, you will ensure all patients presenting to the Urgent Care Service are appropriately triaged, assessed, and provided with frontline care in collaboration with our skilled medical practitioners.

Key Responsibilities:
* Create a welcoming, organized, and efficient clinical environment, keeping the centre compliant, stocked, and efficient for smooth daily operations.
* Be the friendly face patients rely on—greeting them warmly, assisting with appointment scheduling, and maintaining up-to-date registration details to ensure the best patient experience.
* Work alongside Registered Nurses to deliver exceptional care for injuries and illnesses, gaining valuable hands-on experience in a collaborative healthcare setting.
* Perform a variety of clinical care activities—from conducting detailed patient history assessments and administering medications to wound care, plastering, and providing our patients with the essential education that empowers their recovery.
* Maintain Professional Standards and Safety—ensuring all care is delivered within your scope of practice and aligns with our policies, thus creating a safe environment for both patients and staff.
* Support patient guidance by making sound assessments of inclusion and exclusion criteria.
* Document with precision and care—ensuring comprehensive, clear, and accurate records that support ongoing patient treatment and quality care.
