1st Year Electrical Engineering Apprentice Fitting
We currently have an opportunity for the right person to undertake a Mechanical/Electrical Engineering Apprenticeship.
The successful candidate will be required to complete a Certificate III Electrical Fitting.
In return, you will be exposed to and supported with:
Stripping, assessing, repairing, assembling and testing mechanical seals, couplings, motors, pumps, gearboxes and associated equipment
Assisting with root cause analysis investigations
Completing inspection and test plans consistent with meeting corporate compliance standards
Providing troubleshooting advice and reliability solutions
Preparing repair work quotations, associated documentation and scheduling of jobs for repair.
The successful candidate should demonstrate the following:
A genuine desire to become a qualified engineering tradesperson
Have a strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Self-motivation with a positive work ethic
Commitment to on and off the job training
A willingness to learn and work within a team environment
Strong commitment to EHS
