Traffic Management Planning Officer
We are seeking an experienced and analytical Traffic Management Planning Officer to join a specialised team within a State Government agency. This role focuses on ensuring compliance and safety within traffic management involving complex analysis, planning, and stakeholder coordination.
Responsibilities:
* Assess and make recommendations for Traffic Management Registration applications.
* Manage complaints and actively monitor contractor compliance regarding pay and condition elements.
* Analyse audit and registration data to identify key risks and opportunities for process improvement.
* Coordinate audits in collaboration with internal Project Management Office (PMO) and relevant teams.
* Evaluate the placement of detour/warning signs and control point locations in TGS documents.
* Perform preliminary risk assessments and thoroughly document all mitigation strategies.
* Provide expert advice and guidance on traffic management planning to Local Government, external agencies, and industry professionals.
* Contribute to Directorate performance targets and participate actively in continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
* Considerable experience in traffic management planning and operational practices.
* Strong investigative, analytical, and problem-solving skills for complex compliance issues.
* Proven ability to build and manage professional stakeholder relationships across various levels.
* Accreditation in Basic Worksite Traffic Management (BWTM).
* Practical experience working with TRIM, GIS, and CAD systems.
