Occupational Therapist | Flexible Contractor | Ballina and Lismore NSW
The Role:
This position provides the flexibility to structure and organise your schedule around your lifestyle. There are no minimum shift requirements or individual KPIs. You will have the freedom to decide when to attend referrals, must be available during the week.
* Start date: ASAP/Flexible
* Rate: $85 per hour (ABN/Contractor only).
* Flexible roster: Pick and choose when you work
* Training and orientation provided by regional managers, including on-going management support and check-ins.
Most referrals will involve organising equipment trials, completing follow-up trials, and compiling reports in residential aged care. You will work with various funding sources, including HCP, facility funded, private insurance, and rarely DVA (excluding NDIS).
Examples of referrals may include:
* Pressure care.
* Seating assessments.
* Assistive devices (splints, ADL equipment).
* Functional evaluations.
Skills & Requirements:
* Qualification as an Occupational Therapist.
* General AHPRA Registration.
* Experience in community/aged care OT services or experience with wheelchair/ seating prescription, home environment assessments etc.
* One-two successful references.
* NDIS Workers Screening Check, + National Police Check (within the last two years).
* Up to date with Flu & COVID-19 Vaccinations (x3 total).
* Full working rights in Australia.
