AESTEC Services is looking for a skilled Mobile Diesel Fitter to join our team in Gladstone, Queensland. You will have a company vehicle to travel to sites, a variety of daily tasks, and full‐time local employment.
This residential role is not suited to FIFO or DIDO.

Key Responsibilities
* Perform maintenance, repairs and reconditioning on earthmoving, heavy diesel, plant & equipment machinery and engines at various locations.
* Provide outstanding customer service, keeping site managers and supervisors informed of job progress and costs.
* Ensure repairs are carried out using appropriate control guidelines to prevent rework.
* Determine reusability of all disassembled parts.
* Submit accurate service reports, timecards, parts request sheets and quotes.
About You
* Relevant trade qualifications and experience in service and repair of mobile & plant equipment.
* Experience with earthmoving, construction, quarrying, maritime port or agricultural equipment is highly regarded.
* Well‐developed communication and customer service skills.
* Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team as required.
* Proven desktop computer skills and experience with diagnostic systems.
* Commitment to high level of workplace health and safety.
* Ability to work under pressure during peak periods.
