Job Title: Medical Support Coordinator

Description:
We are seeking a proactive and experienced medical professional to support the seamless flow of patients for all medical practitioners in our facility. The ideal candidate will demonstrate initiative in providing clerical support and possess the ability to coordinate with other staff members effectively.

The role involves greeting and attending to patients in person and over the phone, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment. Additionally, you will schedule patient appointments, consultations, and follow-up visits using electronic scheduling systems, coordinating with healthcare providers and patients to optimise appointment availability and minimise wait times.

As part of our team, you will provide administrative support to medical practitioners, including managing patient records, processing billing and payments, and handling correspondence. Collaboration with other staff members is crucial to ensure efficient patient flow and clinic operations.

Key Responsibilities:
* Patient Interaction: Greet and attend to patients in person and over the phone
* Appointment Scheduling: Schedule patient appointments, consultations, and follow-up visits
* Administrative Support: Manage patient records, process billing and payments, and handle correspondence
* Team Coordination: Collaborate with other staff members to ensure efficient patient flow and clinic operations

Requirements:
* Experience: Proven experience in administration, preferably within a medical or healthcare setting
* Communication Skills: Effective written and verbal communication skills
* Teamwork and Independence: Demonstrated ability to coordinate with other staff members and work independently as part of a multidisciplinary team

Desirable Attributes:
* Organisational Skills: Strong organisational and time management abilities
* Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with medical software systems and electronic health records
