This is a strategic and operational role where you’ll work closely with the Director, lead a diverse team, and deliver outcomes that directly shape community wellbeing, tourism, local economy, and small business development.

Key responsibilities:
- Lead community services, tourism, events, and economic development
- Support local businesses and drive economic growth
- Oversee community programs, visitor services, and public events
- Manage areas like NDIS coordination and pest management
- Build strong partnerships with local stakeholders
- Contribute to planning and delivery of Council priorities
What we’re looking for:
- Local Government experience in community, tourism, or economic development
- Tertiary qualification in a related field (e.g. community, business, tourism)
- Confident team leader with strong communication skills
- Cooperative, community-focused mindset
- Current driver's licence
- Experience in grants, events or partnerships is a bonus
