Accountabilities
The Lecturer in Indo-Pacific Studies will be committed to high‑quality teaching and will contribute to the development and delivery of courses within the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, particularly in the Indo-Pacific Studies specialisation within the Bachelor of Arts degree program. The lecturer will demonstrate interest and knowledge in current discipline issues and developments and engage with students and industry.
Who You Are (Skills and Experience)
- A PhD in a discipline related to Indo-Pacific Studies.
- A track record of high-quality scholarly research and publications and experience in seeking research funding, relative to prospect.
- The ability to deliver high-quality teaching and research.
- A willingness to undertake effective administration relevant to the program, school and faculty.
- The ability to build and maintain respectful relationships with students, colleagues and staff at all levels.
