Senior Media and Social Media Officer
This is a key role within the department's communication unit, responsible for managing media and social media engagement strategies for complex issues and programs of work.
* Develop and maintain effective working relationships with team members, clients, and staff at all levels;
* Craft compelling social media content and deliver both reactive and proactive media materials at short notice;
* Build relationships with senior leadership throughout the department, including the Director-General and Minister's Office;
You will be responsible for managing the direction and delivery of media and social media engagement strategies. This includes developing and maintaining effective working relationships with team members, clients, and staff at all levels.
To succeed in this role, you will have excellent relationship and written skills, attention to detail, and time management. You will be motivated by the satisfaction gained from educating Queenslanders about the important work done by the department in regulating drinking water, managing the state's water resources sustainably, and empowering local governments to serve their communities effectively.
