Due to current growth, we are seeking experienced FT certified/licensed BIBO Security Guards to fill full-time vacancies at our new site at Borumba. The village at Borumba is a BIBO site where you will drive to a parking compound close to the site and be bused to and from site for your swing. The successful candidates will be responsible for the provision of effective and responsive security services, interacting with clients, residents, visitors, staff and contractors on a daily basis. As such, you will be a confident communicator and be able to respond to queries in a professional manner. Master Security Licence Number - 4824808 Roster is 7 days on, 7 days off. Locals are encouraged to apply, and accommodation and meals are supplied whilst rostered onsite. The Role Conduct alcohol testing of all personnel entering site (and drug testing if requested) Inspect cleaned machinery, tools & equipment to preserve biosecurity Keep vehicle washdown bays in a clean & tidy condition Operate site access control for people and vehicles on a 24/7 basis Manage and monitor CCTV Surveillance Maintain daily security logs Emergency response and incident control Crowd control for bar area To be considered, you must have or be willing to obtain: HLTPAT005 - Collect specimens for drugs of abuse testing AHCBIO203 - Inspect and clean machinery, tools and equipment to preserve biosecurity Minimum qualification of Cert II in Security Operations Hold a valid QLD Security License which includes crowd control Current First Aid and CPR certificates Australian Driver's License / Manual C Class (must be any Australian State) - International license is not accepted Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug screen Unrestricted work rights in Australia.
