Job Title
The Agency Executive Director is a key member of the executive leadership team responsible for providing strategic direction and oversight across corporate functions, communications, and engagement.
* Executive Leadership: contributing to overall leadership and operating as a key member of the executive team.
* Strategic Planning: developing and implementing the agency's strategic framework, delivering on strategic priorities, and aligning infrastructure, systems, and people to deliver outcomes.
* Governance and Operations: managing effective operations across HR, finance, ICT, governance, compliance, and risk. Ensuring regulatory requirements and operational risk management.
* Workforce Management: leading, mentoring, and managing performance of a capable workforce with commitment to continuous improvement.
* Cultural Safety: setting the standard for diversity and inclusion, ensuring a culturally and psychologically safe workplace.

* Experienced in:
* Leading organisational transformation through strategy and planning.
* Analytical and problem-solving capability in policy, monitoring, and operations.

* Knowledge of best practice in finance, people management, governance, ICT, and risk.
* Building and maintaining partnerships through complex and sensitive issues.
* Researching and critically analysing complex information to provide high-level written and verbal advice, reports, and recommendations.
* Highly Desirable:
* Relevant tertiary qualifications (management, business, commerce or similar).
* Understanding of or willingness to acquire knowledge of Commonwealth aged care system.
