Seeking a Procurement Advisor to support an ICT team delivering essential systems and infrastructure. The role covers procurement planning, market approaches, negotiations, and ensuring compliance with government frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide advice on procurement processes aligned with government policies.
* Prepare and review acquisition plans, evaluation documents and purchase recommendations.
* Manage low to medium risk contract establishment and related procurement projects.
* Support agency-specific and whole-of-government procurement arrangements.
* Improve processes to achieve value-for-money outcomes.
* Build and maintain relationships with internal teams and suppliers.
Skills & Experience
* At least two years' experience in a procurement advisory role.
* Knowledge of government procurement principles and frameworks.
* Ability to prepare procurement documents and support evaluation processes.
* Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
* Able to meet deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.
* Understanding of WH&S, risk management and equity, diversity and inclusion principles.
* Public sector procurement experience preferred.
