Synergie Australia is seeking an IT Delivery Director for a trusted client located in Sydney.
The important parts:
* Hours: Monday–Friday, rotating roster between 8:00am–6:00pm | 40 hrs per week
What you will be required to do:
This role provides executive leadership across Sydney Metro's digital and IT delivery portfolio, driving successful execution of complex transformation initiatives while ensuring strong governance, stakeholder alignment, and measurable business outcomes.
* Lead delivery of large-scale digital and IT programs across construction, operations, and enterprise systems
* Provide hands‐on leadership and act as escalation point for delivery risks and issues
* Establish governance, financial oversight, and executive reporting frameworks
* Align technology initiatives with business priorities and operational needs
* Lead multidisciplinary teams and uplift delivery capability
* Manage vendors and key stakeholder relationships to ensure successful outcomes
To be successful in the role you will:
* Extensive experience delivering complex, large‐scale IT and digital transformation programs within enterprise or highly regulated environments
* Proven leadership of multi‐stream delivery portfolios covering program management, business analysis, change management, and agile practices
* Strong capability in governance, financial oversight, risk management, and executive‐level reporting
* Demonstrated experience managing senior stakeholders, multidisciplinary teams, and third‐party vendors to achieve delivery outcomes
* Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent professional experience, with strong understanding of enterprise IT delivery and organisational change
