About The Role
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Yard hand to join our dealership team. This role is essential in ensuring vehicles are presented to the highest standard and the dealership yard is well-organized and maintained. This role will involve general yard maintenance, vehicle detailing, and assisting with the overall presentation of the dealership.
Key Responsibilities
* Vehicle Movement: Driving cars to and from service bays, storage areas, or display spots. Assisting with deliveries and pickups. Preparing cars for test drives or customer viewing.
* Lot Organization: Ensuring vehicles are parked neatly and safely. Keeping track of inventory locations so sales staff can quickly find cars. Presentation and Cleaning: Washing, vacuuming, and detailing vehicles. Performing basic upkeep of dealership grounds (trash removal, sweeping).
* Customer and Staff Support: Helping customers locate vehicles on the lot. Assisting sales teams with vehicle presentation. Occasionally transporting vehicles to other dealership branches.
Skills and Requirements
* Valid driver's license with a clean record.
* Ability to drive both manual and automatic vehicles.
* Physical stamina for outdoor work and frequent vehicle handling.
