The Role This role is a temp-to-perm opportunity, starting ASAP and reporting to the GM of Finance.
You will be responsible for providing timely and relevant financial analysis for key decision-making, including gross margin forecasting and variance analysis, product scenario modelling, and financial support to the commercial and supply chain divisions.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Sales and Operational Planning Collaborate with the Planning Manager as the Finance lead in the Sales and Operations Planning (SOP) process, providing financial input, analysis, and 'what if' scenarios for product mix and planning.
Offer financial and commercial insights to support decision-making within the SOP process.
Budgeting and Forecasting Manage monthly Gross Margin Model finalization, ensuring accuracy of sales volume, pricing, freight rates, and COGS.
Oversee commercial and supply chain inputs for the Annual Budget, including budget assumptions, GM model, and supply chain costing analysis at a profit segment level.
Reporting and Analysis Assist with monthly financial statements, variance analysis, and inventory reporting for the Finance Manager.
Provide monthly reports and analysis for the Executive and Board, monitoring key performance indicators (KPI) like revenue and gross margin trends.
Highlight performance trends and variances; perform Ad-Hoc reporting as needed for GM Commercial and GM Supply Chain.
