About the role
We are looking for a reliable, engaged Practice Nurse to join our dermatology clinic on a:
* Tuesday 7.45am - 5.30pm
* Wednesday 7.45am - 5.30pm
* Thursday 7.45am - 5.30pm
This role suits someone who understands that medicine doesn't always run to the minute — occasional later finishes may be required when the doctor is running behind, and flexibility is part of being a supportive team member.
There may also be occasional cover required at our Pakenham location.
What you'll be doing
You will play an essential role in the smooth running of the clinic, including:
* Assisting with dermatological procedures (biopsies, excisions, injectables)
* Full training will be provided for dermatological and surgical procedures
* Providing high-quality wound care and post-procedure follow-up
* Preparing patients for consultations and procedures
* Supporting patient flow and assisting in the waiting room when needed
* Stock ordering and inventory management
* Triaging referrals and assisting with patient coordination
* Equipment sterilisation and infection control
* Maintaining accurate medical records
* Participating actively in team discussions, improvements, and training
This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same.

* Hold current AHPRA registration

Flexibility during dermatologist leave
When our dermatologists are away, we offer flexibility rather than forcing a one-size-fits-all approach. During these periods, you may choose to:
* Work (where appropriate)
* Take annual leave, or
* Take leave without pay
