Desktop Support Engineer (Gold Coast, QLD) – Part-Time
This part-time, on-site role requires a Desktop Support Engineer who will provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues at a Gold Coast location.
Responsibilities
Configure and maintain workstations and peripherals
Resolve technical incidents and troubleshoot hardware/software/network problems
Upgrade systems, software, and perform system maintenance
Assist users with IT-related concerns and ensure smooth operation of infrastructure
Qualifications
Proficiency in hardware troubleshooting, setup, and maintenance of computers and peripherals
Experience with software installation, system configuration, and basic networking setup
Familiarity with IT-managed services, network security, and server maintenance
Strong customer service and communication skills for user support and issue resolution
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently
Formal IT qualification or certifications (e.g., Microsoft, CompTIA, Cisco) are advantageous
Relevant experience in desktop support or a related technical support role
