West Moreton Health, Finance and Business Services (F&BS) Division is seeking a Director of Service Improvement to join our dynamic team. This pivotal role is an exciting opportunity to collaborate directly with the Chief Finance Officer (CFO) and senior management to lead key initiatives that enhance service delivery, improve systems, and foster innovation in response to evolving business needs.

About the role

The Director of Service Improvement is responsible for coordinating and facilitating the delivery of critical strategic outcomes in support of the Chief Finance Officer (CFO) and Finance and Business Services Division (F&BS); and providing high-level advice, options analysis and recommendations to senior management in the Division.

This role will enhance service and system improvement, planning and policy development, operational performance monitoring; and have a key focus on the development of operational strategies in response to change management impacting the Division.

What we're looking for

We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic thinker with the ability to drive results in a fast-paced and evolving environment. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading and managing critical projects, identifying and mitigating strategic risks, and delivering effective solutions within tight deadlines.

You will be someone who can demonstrate the following:

* Proven issue identification, analytical and research skills, problem solving skills and a demonstrated ability to develop innovative, sensitive and practical solutions and provide strategic advice to complex issues.
* Influences strategic and creative thinking and achieves results whilst demonstrating personal drive and integrity.
* Demonstrated highly developed skills and experience in the areas of finance and resource management with the ability to influence and drive organisational outcomes.
* Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively lead and manage external and internal stakeholders, including proven experience in liaising and providing strategic advice and support to executive management.
