ABOUT THE ROLE
Natus Sensory is seeking a motivated IT Technical Support professional to join our Service team in a hybrid role based in Newington, NSW. The role offers a unique blend of IT support and hands‐on technical experience, making it ideal for someone looking to build a long‐term technical career in the field of audiology.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early‐career professional with a strong interest in IT, technology, or with hands‐on technical work experience.
You will be the first point of contact for IT‐related support calls, primarily supporting audiological and medical equipment, while also gaining exposure to equipment repairs, servicing, and calibration.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Provide first‐line IT technical support via phone, email, or by remote access.
* Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues related to audiological equipment.
* Support internal teams and customers with technical enquiries.
* Perform hands‐on repairs, servicing, and calibrations of medical devices when required by assisting with equipment (training provided).
* Log, track, and manage support requests to resolution in a timely manner.
* Work closely with Sales and Service teams to ensure excellent customer outcomes.
* Escalate complex issues where required and follow through to completion.
* Develop and maintain in‐depth insight in the Natus Sensory product ranges and respective software packages, ensuring up‐to‐date knowledge of new and existing product developments.
ABOUT YOU
* Recently graduated (or close to completing) a qualification in IT, Engineering, Biomedical Technology, Electronics, or a related field.
* Strong interest in technology, troubleshooting, and hands‐on technical work.
* Comfortable handling multiple support calls and prioritising tasks.
* A team player who can also work independently and take ownership of issues.
* Strong communication skills and a customer‐focused mindset.
* Willingness to learn about medical and audiological equipment.
* Attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem‐solving.
