The role of a Leasing Paralegal/Lawyer involves providing essential support to the Regional Lawyers in negotiating and drafting leases with traditional owners and landowners. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about property law and possess excellent negotiation skills.
Key Responsibilities
* Negotiate and draft leases, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
* Collaborate with the Legal Services Section to fulfill the Central Land Council's functions under the Aboriginal Land Rights Act (NT) Act 1976 and Native Title Act 1993.
