Child psychologist

Sydney
Muse Psychology
Psychologist
Posted: 16 December
Offer description

At Muse Psychology, we believe that when children thrive, families flourish — and when psychologists feel supported, everything else follows.

We're looking for a Child Psychologist to join our warm, collaborative, and family-focused team on a full-time, permanent basis. This opportunity has opened as part of our continued growth and expansion, and we're seeking someone who shares our passion for helping young people reach their full potential.

This isn't just another private practice role — it's your chance to be part of a team that values compassion, connection, and clinical excellence in equal measure.

Why Psychologists choose Muse Psychology

We are a practice that puts people first. We have created a workplace where psychologists feel respected, supported, and inspired. That means:

* Thoughtfully managed caseloads
* Flexibility to shape your work around interests and strengths
* A calm, beautifully designed practice environment that children love and parents trust
* A team culture built on warmth, humour, and genuine care.

Meaningful work with real impact

At Muse, you will:

* Provide therapy to children, adolescents, and families using evidence-based approaches.
* Collaborate with parents, schools, and other professionals to support our clients needs.
* Collaborate with our Testing Psychologist.
* You will have opportunities (if you want them) to help with our social media, blogs for our website, vlogs and any other role that might interest you.
* Contribute to the development of Muse Store, helping select and review therapeutic tools and resources that can make a difference in homes and classrooms. (This just means you get to play with the squishies and weighted teddy's first)

Growth that feels good

We are committed to your professional journey. We offer:

* Regular Supervision and peer support
* Ongoing professional development opportunities - both internal and external, on us.
* A stable, full-time role within a supportive, growing team.
* We love what we do, we want you to love it too.

Why you are perfect for this role

We are not looking for perfection - we are looking for purpose. You will fit right in if you bring:

* Full registration with AHPRA as a Psychologist
* Experience working with Children, adolescents, and families.
* A strengths based and compassionate approach to therapy
* Strong communication and collaboration skills
* A genuine passion for helping people grow, learn, and thrive.

Why you will love working at Muse Psychology

* Stable employment with flexibility and work‑life balance
* You choose your therapeutic approach to our clients. We are always there for advice. We love creativity and new approaches to our work. We all learn from each other
* Very competitive salary package well above award rates.
* Guaranteed salary review each year
* Bonuses that reflect your value to Muse Psychology
* Genuine community – we are a team that supports, laughs, and grows together.
* Beautiful clinic environment that promotes calm and connection
* Admin support – you can focus on your clients and not your inbox
* Involvement in Muse Store – this is a creative outlet that our psychologists love. You and your clients get to play with all the products during session, test them, and review them before they hit our shelves.
