About Our Family
We're a busy, loving family of five looking for someone special to join our household. We have three wonderful children - two primary school-aged kids and an energetic 10-month-old baby who keeps us on our toes As a family, we value kindness, reliability, and someone who can genuinely become part of our daily rhythm.
The Role
We're looking for a warm, capable person who can wear multiple hats - part nanny, part household manager, and all-around family support. This isn't just a job; it's about becoming an integral part of our family's daily life. You'll be the person our children look forward to seeing each day, and the one who helps keep our household running smoothly behind the scenes.
Childcare Responsibilities:
* Caring for our 10-month-old throughout the day - all the feeds, naps, play, cuddles, and developmental activities that come with this beautiful stage
* School drop-offs and pick-ups for our two primary school children
* Engaging with all three children, fostering their growth and happiness
* Managing the children's routines and activities
Household Management:
* Light cleaning to keep our home tidy and functional
* Laundry - washing, folding, and putting away
* Kitchen duties, including dishes and light meal preparation
* General tidying and organisation to help the household run smoothly
* Being proactive about what needs doing without needing to be asked
Travel:
Occasional travel with the family when work commitments require it (ad-hoc basis)
Flexibility and adaptability when our schedule changes
Who We're Looking For You're someone who:
* Genuinely loves children and has experience caring for babies and young kids
* Can confidently handle the needs of a 10-month-old - you've been there before and know what to expect
* Is naturally organised and can juggle multiple responsibilities without breaking a sweat
* Takes initiative and sees what needs doing without waiting to be told
* Is reliable, punctual, and someone we can truly depend on
* Has a warm, positive energy that children naturally gravitate toward
* Is flexible and can adapt when plans change (because with three kids, they often do)
* Is comfortable with occasional travel and extended hours when needed
* Has a current Working With Children Check (or is willing to obtain one)
* Holds a current First Aid certificate (or willing to obtain one)
* Has a valid driver's license and reliable transport
Bonus points if:
You have formal childcare qualifications
You have household management or similar experience
You're great at meal planning and cooking with kids
You have references we can contact
What We Offer
Competitive salary: $80,000 per annum
Flexible hours: While core hours are 8am-5pm Monday to Friday, we're open to discussing what works best for both of us
