About the Role
As an Assistant in Nursing (AIN), you will work as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide high‐quality patient care and support the comfort, safety, and wellbeing of patients in an acute hospital environment.
Responsibilities
* Assist patients with activities of daily living
* Support patient mobility and transfers
* Monitor and report changes in patient conditions
* Assist nursing staff with patient care activities
* Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment
* Provide compassionate, person‐centred care
Essential Requirements
* Certificate III in Acute Care (AIN) or equivalent; Certificate III in Individual Support is not sufficient
* Undergraduate Nursing Student (Year 2 or Year 3) with acute placement experience; OR
* Health Services Assistant (HSA) with a minimum Certificate III in Acute Care
* Previous acute care experience preferred
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Ability to work effectively in a fast‐paced hospital environment
* Current relevant checks and vaccinations as required
