About the Role

This is a fantastic entry‐level opportunity for a motivated all‐rounder who enjoys variety in their day and takes pride in providing exceptional customer service to the community. Working within the emergency services sector, you will be part of a positive, supportive and close‐knit team while gaining valuable experience across administration, customer service and inventory management functions.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide high‐quality customer service to internal and external stakeholders and build effective working relationships.
* Deliver general administrative and office support including records management, data entry, and database/system coordination.
* Prepare documents such as letters, reports, minutes, briefings, presentations, and other correspondence.
* Coordinate meetings including scheduling, agendas, venue bookings, catering, diary management, and minute taking.
* Manage stores and inventory including ordering, stock control, receipting goods, picking, packing, labelling, and tracking stock movements.
* Maintain accurate financial and stores records in systems such as SAP and RMS, including accounts payable and purchasing support.
* Liaise with suppliers to obtain quotes and coordinate procurement requirements.
* Undertake manual handling tasks, including lifting items over 15kg.
* Support Incident Management activities appropriate to experience and qualifications.

About You

You are enthusiastic, motivated and eager to learn, with strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail. You will enjoy working in a fast‐paced team environment and be comfortable managing a variety of tasks.

Previous administration experience is desirable, and experience with stores, warehousing or inventory management functions would be highly regarded. You will also demonstrate:

* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Sound computer and data entry skills.
* The ability to work proactively with minimal supervision.
* A commitment to teamwork and customer service.
* The ability to interact professionally with people at all levels.

Experience working in the public sector and exposure to SAP finance systems would be advantageous.

Pre-employment Checks
