Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities Operations Director to oversee the smooth operation of our hotel facilities. This individual will be responsible for ensuring that all systems, processes, and safety protocols are in place to guarantee a successful and safe opening.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage project completion handover from the pre-opening builder and project management team.
* Develop and implement preventative and reactive maintenance systems to ensure property compliance ahead of opening.
* Oversee day-to-day maintenance operations across hotel facilities, including guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house, and external grounds.
* Create and maintain safety and maintenance protocols that align with local regulations and brand standards.
* Foster a culture of safety for all guests, team members, and contractors by promoting proactive risk management and compliance.
* Liaise with contractors, engineers, and suppliers to oversee works and ensure seamless operation of building systems.
* Collaborate with other departments to address maintenance needs promptly and with minimal disruption.
* Maintain up-to-date records for compliance, inspections, warranties, and permits.
Responsibilities also include repairing and maintaining the property's plant, pool, equipment, and machinery.
