Support Recovery Specialist
We are seeking a dedicated Support Recovery Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our program, you will provide direct support to participants to help them regain, keep, and improve skills, including self-management skills.

The Supporting Recovery Program is designed to empower individuals with mental health issues to participate fully in their communities. Our approach focuses on identifying and nurturing natural supports that sustain recovery, and developing self-management skills to ensure long-term success.
In this role, you will work closely with participants to understand their goals, aspirations, and hopes, and develop personalized recovery plans to achieve these objectives. Your expertise will be invaluable in supporting participants to identify and nurture natural supports, engage with families and communities, and maintain accurate records and documentation.
Responsibilities
* Provide direct support to participants to regain, keep, and improve skills, including self-management skills.
* Support participants to identify and nurture natural supports that sustain recovery.
* Engage with families and communities to support participants' recovery goals.
* Develop and monitor recovery plans in collaboration with participants.
* Maintain accurate records and documentation, including daily, weekly, and monthly data entry.
Qualifications and Requirements
* A tertiary level qualification in Mental Health or Community Services.
* Current valid Driver's License and the ability to undertake travel for the role.
* Satisfactory Police Records Check (issued within the last 12 months).
* Working with Children Check.
* NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate.
* NDIS Worker Screening Check.
