About the position
The Anchorage takes pride in the way we present our resort to our guests. We currently have an opportunity for a Full Time Horticulturist to join our maintenance team. This position is key to maintaining our garden landscapes to the level our guests have come to expect. Your daily activities will include:
* Ensuring a high level of customer service is delivered to all guests
* Exceptional upkeep of grounds including mowing, snipping, and weeding
* Watering and maintaining irrigation systems
* Prune and shape gardens
* Landscaping of new gardens and facilities
* Chemical use including fertilising, pest and disease control
* Assisting with general cleaning and maintenance of all amenities and facilities
This position will require availability to work across a 7 day roster, including weekends, public holidays, and the busy school holiday periods.
Certifications required: Horticulture Trades Certificate, Current drivers licence
