About The Opportunity
Kurri Kurri District Hospital is seeking a motivated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our dedicated and supportive team. For the right candidate, flexibility around days of work can be considered, offering an excellent opportunity to achieve work‐life balance while making a meaningful impact in the local community. In this role, you will work closely with Emergency Department staff, the Transfer of Care Nurse, and the Older Persons Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) to support positive health outcomes for older patients across both the hospital and community settings. As a small rural hospital, Kurri Kurri District Hospital prides itself on its highly collaborative multidisciplinary team, who are passionate about delivering high‐quality, person‐centred care for consumers aged over 65 years. Reporting to the Site Nurse Manager, you will also receive ongoing support from the Medical Ward/ED Nurse Unit Manager and the Older Persons CNC. Professional growth and development are strongly encouraged through access to Clinical Nurse Educator support, ongoing education opportunities, mentorship, and upskilling within the aged care specialty.
About You
* Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
* Current NSW driver's licence
* Demonstrated initiative and the ability to work autonomously within a collaborative team environment
* Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build effective professional relationships
