Our client is seeking a .NET Developer to help build and enhance their technology platforms. About the Role: As a .NET Developer, you'll work as part of an agile development team collaborating on software solutions that support renewable energy initiatives. You'll be involved in the full software development lifecycle, playing a pivotal role in creating robust, scalable applications that manage resources efficiently, track sustainability goals, and analyse energy consumption data. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, test, and maintain web applications and APIs using .NET frameworks (e.g., .NET Core, ASP.NET). Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, data scientists, and renewable energy specialists, to translate business needs into technical solutions. Integrate front-end elements with server-side logic to deliver seamless user experiences. Ensure software performance, scalability, and security while adhering to industry best practices. Debug and resolve application issues, optimising the code for maximum efficiency. Stay updated on emerging technologies, frameworks, and trends in renewable energy and software development. Qualifications and Requirements: Proven experience as a .NET Developer, with proficiency in C#, .NET Core, and ASP.NET. Strong knowledge of relational database systems (e.g., SQL Server) and experience with ORM frameworks like Entity Framework. Familiarity with front-end technologies, such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and popular frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue.js). Experience with cloud platforms like Azure or AWS is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Passion for renewable energy and sustainability is highly desirable.
