This is alive-in position in a one-bedroom, self-contained apartment on the property.
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Estate Caretaker, House Manager & Butler (with Dog Care Duties) to oversee the daily operations and maintenance of a private residence with large garden, pool and tennis court and ensuring the property, grounds, and household services run smoothly and efficiently.
This position has become available following the retirement of the current employee after 13 years of dedicated service.
About the role As the Estate Caretaker, House Manager & Butler (with Dog Care Duties) you will be the key on-site presence responsible for the overall upkeep and smooth functioning of the property.
This full-time role will see you work closely with the family and coordinate external contractors to maintain the highest standards across all areas of the estate.
Responsibilities Coordinate the attendance and performance of all staff and tradespeople Maintain the external presentation of the property, including lawn mowing and sweeping Must have a love of dogs Assist with family events Respond to ad-hoc and unexpected tasks as they arise Qualifications Significant experience in private household, property or estate management Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills Demonstrate a high level of discretion, integrity and respect for confidentiality in all aspects of their work Strong interpersonal and communication skills Proactive, practical and hands-on approach Comfortable working with dogs and managing caretaking duties Valid driver's licence and clean driving record Ability to be discreet, reliable and flexible with working hours Benefits A unique, varied and rewarding role with autonomy Long-term, stable chance for the right candidate Supportive relationship with the family and office team Next Step Apply today!
