At MadisonAV, we’re seeking an Electronics Technician for our Retail Portfolio to be the expert behind the scenes, ensuring our HARMAN Professional Audio products are ready to rock, excel, and impress!
The opportunity
- Master the mechanics: Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a wide range of HARMAN Skilled Audio retail products, including portable PA systems, microphones, mixers, and headphones.
- Tune for perfection: Calibrate and test equipment to ensure optimal performance, meeting manufacturers’ specifications and delivering superior sound quality.
- Document the details: Accurately record all repair activities, parts used, and test results, maintaining meticulous records for future reference.
- Collaborate with the crew: Work closely with the technical support team, providing insights from hands-on troubleshooting and contributing to knowledge sharing.
- Stay ahead of the curve: Continuously learn about new products, technologies, and repair techniques, keeping your skills sharp and current.

What we are looking for
- You have a Cert III in Electrotechnology and a restricted electrical license as a minimum.
- Technical tinkerer: Proven experience as a technician, ideally with professional audio equipment, consumer electronics, or similar complex electronic devices.
- Diagnostic detective: Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose hardware and software issues with precision.
- Hands-on hero: Proficiency with test equipment, soldering, and general repair tools – you’re comfortable getting hands-on with gear.
- Audio savant: A solid understanding of audio signal flow, acoustics, and the principles behind how audio equipment operates.
- Meticulous master: Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to performing high-quality repairs and maintenance.
- Problem-solving prodigy: Your ability to find creative solutions to technical challenges is second to none.
