This site would ideally suit someone who comes from a food manufacturing background. However training can be provided
Rotating Roster - starting 6am / 2pm / 10pm - Production Operator
**The key duties and responsibilities will include**:
- Maintain Production levels as per schedule
- Moving Products, both manually and with a forklift
- Weighing, measuring, counting of raw materials (includes raw meat)
- Monitoring the supply and quality of products
- Be committed, reliable with a demonstrated strong work ethic
- Heavy lifting up to 25kg
**Essential Skills**
- Proven food handling experience in a fast-paced environment
- HACCP or food-handling certificates (desirable)
- Must be able to work rotating shifts
- Must have own car and a valid driver's licence
- Outstanding communication skills (both written and verbal)
- A strong safety and quality focus
- Forklift Licence is advantageous (1 year experience on Counterbalance) - on the job training provided for freshers
- Must be willing to undergo a Drug and Alcohol test
- Must have FULL work rights in Australia
- Excellent teamwork skills and ability to work independently
- Committed, reliable with a demonstrated strong work ethic
- Physical fit and ability to work on your feet for a full shift.
