We are looking for a Senior Engineer or Project Manager from the Major Construction industry to step into a Project Manager position and deliver highly technical demolition projects across Melbourne.
The Company:
* A reputable Demolition Contractor operating in Victoria for over 40 years
* Opportunity to work directly with Tier 1 major contractors as clients
* Leave the 13-hour major construction days behind, work Monday-Friday
* Fantastic retention throughout the company, young & dynamic office culture
* Diverse project portfolio, specifically in the Major Infrastructure division
Key Responsibilities of the role:
* Oversee the successful delivery of demolition projects on site, ensuring smooth operations and timely completion
* Resolve construction disputes, build strong client relationships
* High value placed on excellent communication
* Track project costs and budgets, tender and price new projects
* Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet
* Thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and lead a team of construction professionals
Preferred Qualifications:
* 2-5 years of experience as a Project Manager or Senior Project Engineer in the construction industry, preferably with a focus on the Commercial / Infrastructure projects in Australia.
* Engineering degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
* Self-starter, natural ability to solve problems and build relationships
