We are seeking a Maintenance Handyperson / Handyman to join our team with an immediate start .
This role is ideal for someone with minimal experience who is keen to learn on the job, build their skills and grow with the business.
Role Overview
The Maintenance Handyperson is responsible for supporting reactive and preventative maintenance across our client sites. This includes general repairs, basic mechanical tasks, support work around spray booths and workshop equipment, and helping our technicians on project and upgrade works.
You'll work across metropolitan sites, with occasional regional or interstate travel as required, with a guaranteed 38-hour working week .
This position suits a developing tradesperson / all-rounder looking for consistent work at a competitive hourly rate of $35 – $40 per hour, plus allowances and overtime opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with general building and facility repairs (minor carpentry, patching, basic repairs, general upkeep).
* Support senior technicians with maintenance on spray booths, compressors, extraction fans and workshop equipment (training provided).
* Carry out basic fault finding and problem-solving with guidance from senior team members.
* Perform routine maintenance tasks and checks to ensure safe and reliable operation of equipment and work areas.
* Help with installs, upgrades and small project works as directed.
* Complete simple service reports and timesheets daily.
* Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow all safety procedures and instructions.
* Travel to multiple client locations as required (company vehicle provided while working).
* Work both independently on simple tasks and as part of a team on larger jobs.
Must Have
* Valid driver's licence.
* Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
* Good attitude, reliability and strong work ethic.
* Basic problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Strong communication and customer service approach when dealing with clients and team members.
* A passport and willingness to travel interstate is advantageous but not essential.

Qualifications
