Entry-Level Nursing Position
We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to join our team and embark on a comprehensive new graduate program.
* The 12-month program is designed to equip you with the necessary skills and knowledge to become a competent and confident nurse.
The nursing program emphasizes the importance of developing clinical practice principles, hospitality, healing, stewardship, and respect. You will have the opportunity to participate in ongoing learning and development tailored to your goals, as well as be part of diverse, inclusive, and supportive nursing teams.
Key Program Components
* A dedicated Learning & Development Team of clinical facilitators and new graduate preceptors.
* Three full days of clinical orientation.
* Two graduate-specific study days.
* Monthly clinical workshops.
* Supernumerary shifts on each rotation.
* Access to scholarships for postgraduate study.
Requirements
* Mandatory:
o Registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
o Willingness to learn clinical nursing skills including critical care.
o Ability to work permanently in Australia.
* Desirable:
o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
o Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
o Ability to apply the nursing process in safe, evidence-based care in an acute care environment.
o Commitment to a mission-based organisation.
o Ongoing professional development.
