Located at the heart of the richly agricultural New England region, it's also encircled by quaint country towns and villages that more than merit the short drive.Private Hospital offering a comprehensive range of inpatient and day services across a wide range of specialties.Onsite shared accommodation provided & travel up to $900 reimbursed (flights or mileage only).RMO Role Description Please ensure locums read and understand before presenting: The role of the Ward doctor is to provide cover to the wards via the Medical Officers Noticeboard (MON) for acute issues that cannot wait. The weekend RMO will be responsible for holding the after-hours pager and attending clinical reviews. There is a Medical Registrar onsite who can provide support. In the event of a MET call, the weekend RMO, Medical Registrar, and ICU team attend. The ICU leads the MET call and will hand over to the Medical Registrar and weekend RMO when appropriate. On-Call registrars (Surgical, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Orthopaedics, and Anaesthetics) are rostered and available to provide additional support during these shifts. A paediatric SRMO/Registrar and ICU SRMO/Registrar are onsite 24/7. A Medical Registrar is also onsite during these hours for additional support. Other Interns/RMOs will assist with MON jobs throughout the day. The Weekend RMO is responsible for patients admitted under medical, surgical, orthopaedic, rehabilitation, obstetrics and gynaecology, psychiatry, and palliative care teams. This includes surgical, orthopaedic, medical, and gynaecological patients on the paediatric ward and inpatients remaining in ED due to bed unavailability.
