What You’ll Be Doing
- In this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for the productive management of physical and electronic records across the organisation. From sorting and scanning documents to archiving and retrieval, you'll help ensure our records are accurate, secure, and easy to access.
- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence – scanning, classifying, registering, and distributing documents.
- Set up and track files, and handle internal mail and file movement.
- Assist with archiving and disposal of records in line with established retention policies.
- Provide support and advice to staff across departments on records management procedures.
- Help improve internal processes and maintain the security and confidentiality of information.
- Contribute to team goals and participate in ongoing training and development.
What You’ll Bring
- A qualification in Records Management (Certificate IV or higher) or equivalent experience. (Desirable)
- Experience working in the public sector (Desirable)
- Practical experience using an Electronic Document and Records Management System, ideally TRIM, Oracle or Sharepoint.
- Solid organisational skills and the ability to manage tasks independently.
- Great communication and interpersonal skills, with a helpful and proactive attitude.
- A team-focused mindset and a willingness to support others.
