The unit in the section is responsible for optimising the design of the program's service delivery to enable greater efficiency while maintaining the integrity of the program. This team therefore focuses on redesign work, as well as significant system changes and upgrades, considerations of change and risk management, working with Policy and Operational areas to test ideas and run Pilots.

This team therefore focuses on service redesign work, as well as significant system changes and upgrades, considerations of change and risk management.
**What you'll need to succeed**
You will be responsible for analyzing current systems and business processes in order to suggest enhancements, contributing to the re-design of new processes and systems. This will involve analysing data and trends within the program, creating business cases, leading enhancement projects and managing change in order to improve efficiency and effectiveness within the program. Some duties / Responsibilities include:
- Develop business cases to meet program objectives and support systems and business improvements
- Lead projects and manage change to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the program
- Provide input and review specifications, coordinate testing of changes and develop resource materials/training as required
- Analyse trends within, and suggest improvements to processes and systems and their use within the Program
- Ensure alignment with the program's strategy
- Provide advice to colleagues and other staff to assist with business improvement.
- Regularly attend and represent the program in a variety of forums with internal and external entities to provide expertise and ensure program needs are met
- Appropriately design and tailor communications and messaging to a broad range of stakeholders within the program/s.
- Assist with planning, coordinating and running meetings and provide secretariat responsibilities or functions as required
To be successful in this role, you must be an Australian Citizen and have relevant experience in Government Department and / or in a similar position. You must also be able to obtain and maintain a Federal Government Security Clearance (Baseline, NV1 or NV2) as well as be willing to undertake an Employment Suitability Screening (ESC) which is specific to the Department.
