Seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to process fortnightly payroll for employees based in Australia, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
* Responsibilities include maintaining payroll records, ensuring compliance with Fair Work Australia and ATO regulations.
* Manage employee data, including new hires, terminations, and changes in compensation or benefits.
* Handle payroll queries and resolve discrepancies in a professional manner.
* Prepare payroll reports for internal stakeholders and external audits.
* Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure alignment on payroll-related matters.
* Support year-end processes, including payment summaries and tax filings.
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
Maintaining accurate and timely payroll processing is crucial for our business.
* Minimum 3 years of payroll experience, preferably in a multi-site environment.
* Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation and tax requirements.
* Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., ADP, Micropay).
