**How you will spend your time**
As a finance analyst you will:
- Build new and optimise existing data worksheets that support the delivery of reliable analytics and reporting with actionable insights to support well-informed decisions. This could range from customer and
product profitability, resource / vendor management, margin analysis, competitor benchmarking and activity-based costing reviews.
- Support the development and maintenance of financial planning models to deliver efficient and accurate
forecasting.
- Support the FP&A Manager and Head of FP&A during financial plan development and reporting
processes to ensure they meet the agreed requirements.
- Appropriately challenge business assumptions that will drive financial forecast, budget and financial plan
modelling and outcomes.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to build out reporting, KPIs and dashboards to support well
- informed decisions, including financial and non-financial metrics.
- Partner internally with the Financial Accounting, Analytics and BI & Reporting teams to facilitate business
needs.
- Deep dive in operating expenses to understand cost drivers, spend with major vendors and identify
opportunities for efficiency and savings

- You can prioritize, adapt to change quickly and work well with ambiguity
- You get a buzz out of delivering clear, actionable insights to non-technical audiences
- You put your hand up for help when stuck
**What you will bring**
- Commercial experience within finance in a corporate or consultancy
- You are a self-starter who likes to identify opportunities to improve existing systems/processes
- Strong organizational skills, and a capacity to coordinate and deliver work with limited/ambiguous requirements
- Experience using relational databases and analytic tools such as SQL is preferrable but not essential
- Experience working in an agile organisation, and ability to manage changing priorities
