Ongoing, full time role based in Geelong
- Advise and provide recommendations to the courts
- CCP3 Salary range: $86,691 - $93,274 plus superannuation

About us
Corrections Victoria's purpose is to deliver an effective corrections system for a safe community.

Community Correctional Services (CCS), is overseen by Corrections Victoria, a division of the Department of Justice and Community Safety. CCS is responsible for the management and supervision of people on parole, clients under post sentence supervision and court orders.

About the role
The position will be required to adhere to local or regional rostering arrangements and other staffing management practices as directed.
**To be successful in this role, you will have**:

- experience or knowledge of court processes, prosecutions or related areas
- an ability to provide human services in needs assessment and development of interventions
- capability to provide evidence based advice and recommendations to the court that maximise offender responsiveness interventions
- robust stakeholder management and interpersonal skills
- an ability to manage offenders exhibiting challenging behaviours and escalate as required.

A relevant qualification in social work, law, human services, criminal justice or criminology and experience in a court advice, assessments or prosecutions field is also desirable.
