**Overview**:
Liquip International - part of OPW, is a global leader in fluid handling, metering, filtration and control solutions for the petro-chemical industry. Liquip International has an opening for a talented Technical Sales Representative.
The Technical Sales Representative is primarily responsible for coordinating strategies to ensure sales budget are met in consultation with the Business Development Representatives across the entire range of Liquip, OPW and distributed products. They will be responsible for developing, building and maintaining relationships with Liquip's distributors and end users.
The Technical Sales Representative will work in the sales team to grow sales and gain market share. They will also be the primary contact for aftersales support activities and record appropriate information in Liquip's CRM system.
The Technical Sales Representative will liaise with the internal Liquip team and customers to provide timely technical information, training, and responses to RFQs, tenders and customer requests. This role also extends to supporting Liquip's cross functional teams across a facet of sales and marketing related activities.

**Primary Responsibilities**:
- Promote and sell all Liquip company products and services to assigned opportunities.
- Lead and provide aftersales support to customers, whilst working closely with our internal resources to assist in solution development, proposal delivery and implementation.
- Development of quotations and tender proposals for customised projects to be reviewed by management prior to submission.
- Assist sales and engineering teams in the preparation of fuel delivery (e.g. loading arms, floating suctions) and pressure vessel (filtration) quotes.
- Act as the primary cross functional link between sales and engineering departments.
- Maintenance of sales and marketing documentation including processing of Minor Design Changes (MDCs).
- Provide technical information and product training to customers as required via live training sessions or sales promotional tools e.g. PowerPoint presentations/videos etc.
- Engage new and existing customers through Liquip's various communication platforms to grow Liquip's market share.
- Determining customers' needs and potential opportunities by conducting the research to obtain market information and assist Liquip to take advantage of these opportunities.
- Implementation of short and long term action plans to significantly grow sales of both part sales and project work.
- Develop extensive knowledge of both the Liquip product range and product markets.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders - customers, distributors and suppliers.
- Travel to conduct face to face meetings with stakeholders and provide onsite problem solving and resolutions as required.
- Utilise and maintain Liquip's CRM and quote register to monitor leads, opportunities and sale pipeline activities.
- Other business/sales duties as assigned by management.
**Qualifications/Requirements**:
- Minimum of 5 years of technical sales experience in an industrial equipment environment.
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing solid customer service; this includes meeting quality standards, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
- Strong product knowledge of Road Tanker, Fuel Loading Terminal and/or Aviation Fuelling Equipment preferred.
- Active participation in relevant industry groups preferred e.g. National Bulk Tanker Association.
- A track record in successful selling, achieving KPIs and developing/implementing correction action plans.
- Ability to closely manage business development and key accounts at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability in developing and implementing technical solutions.
- Understanding of technical drawings preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Current drivers' licence (essential).
