What You'll Do
* Create high-quality dishes and menu content that is exciting and specific to the local region and environment.
* Lead and manage a team of Food and Beverage staff to develop their skill base.
* Ensure speed of service and food quality remain high during both low and peak flight periods.
* Monitor and manage COGS, wastage, and labor to hit financial targets.
* Uphold strict HACCP food safety legislation in line with the Cater Care Food Safety Manual and standards and airport security regulations.
* Lead the kitchen workflow and ensure your team adheres to standard operating procedures.
About You
Desired Skills and Experience
* A trade-qualified Chef (Cert III/IV) who holds a valid Food Safety Supervisor Certificate.
* Capable of handling volume with ease; experience in retail MTO and bulk cooking.
* Discuss and develop Function menu's with key airport and local business stakeholders.
* Be a natural leader who knows how to build a positive culture and get the best out of the brigade.
* Must have a valid driver's license and access to reliable private transport.
* Eligible to pass a strict security background check to obtain an ASIC pass.
