A$230,000.00/yr - A$250,000.00/yr Key responsibilities: Leadership and Strategy Lead the development and execution of the company's asset management strategy, aligning with business goals and regulatory requirements. Provide expert guidance and leadership to the Asset Management team and cross-functional stakeholders. Promote a culture of safety, sustainability, and continuous improvement. Asset Management Develop, implement, and continuously improve the organisation's Asset Management System in alignment with ISO 55001 and other industry standards. Establish and maintain the Asset Regulatory and Compliance System to ensure adherence to all legal, regulatory, and industry requirements. Act as the organisations
Engineering Authority, responsible for the governance of design, maintenance, and construction standards to ensure safe and effective operations. Ensure the integration of data-driven decision-making tools and technologies into asset planning and operations. Maintain the integrity, accuracy, and reliability of asset data and performance metrics. Provide the technical support services to asset protection initiatives, including the coordination of "Before You Dig Australia" and other stakeholder engagements. Governance and Compliance Monitor and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, maintaining robust reporting and audit processes. Serve as the key point of contact for regulators, ensuring alignment with legal obligations and fostering transparent communication. Oversee the risk management framework related to asset management, ensuring risks are identified, mitigated, and reported appropriately. Manage audits and reviews related to asset management systems and standards. Innovation and Continuous Improvement Identify and implement industry best practices, emerging technologies, and innovative methodologies to enhance asset performance. Monitor global and domestic trends in asset management to ensure the organisation remains at the forefront of the industry. Drive initiatives that improve lifecycle cost management, asset reliability, and operational efficiency. Stakeholder Engagement Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with organisational objectives. Engage with external stakeholders, including regulators, industry bodies, and technology providers, to represent the company's interests. Prepare and present reports, proposals, and recommendations to the executive leadership team and board. Key Selection Criteria Essential Qualifications Degree qualified in Engineering, Asset Management, or a related field. Registered as a professional engineer. Experience Proven experience in leading and implementing asset management systems and standards. Strong knowledge of Australian energy regulations and compliance frameworks. Demonstrated success in managing cross-functional teams and driving organisational change. Experience with advanced asset management tools, technologies, and analytics. Skills and Competencies Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and develop actionable insights.
