About the role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join the Ryan Conroy Mechanical Pty Ltd team in Fernvale, Queensland. As a full-time Heavy Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of a range of heavy machinery and vehicles. Positions available in Brisbane and NSW (remote work).
What you'll be doing
* Diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, and other heavy-duty components
* Perform scheduled maintenance on a variety of heavy equipment, including trucks, dozers, and excavators
* Undertake fault-finding and troubleshooting to identify and resolve mechanical issues
* Maintain detailed records of all work performed
* Ensure a safe and organised work environment
* Provide exceptional customer service and support
What we're looking for
* Proven experience as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic
* Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
* Excellent knowledge of heavy machinery maintenance and repair
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work
* Relevant trade qualifications or certifications
* A current driver's licence
