We are currently seeking an Investigation Review Officer to join our team on a 12-month contract may lead to a permanent position within Fraud & Intelligence. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in insurance claims, investigations, or fraud detection who thrives in a collaborative and customer-focused environment.
This role is open to internal candidates based inBrisbane, Melbourne, Sydney & Adelaide
What you'll do:
* Conduct thorough, impartial investigations into insurance claims, identifying potential fraud or misrepresentation.
* Gather and assess evidence using investigative tools and techniques, ensuring all actions align with legal, ethical, and regulatory standards.
* Complete recorded interviews, perform relevant searches, and assess supporting documentation.
* Communicate outcomes with clarity and empathy, managing sensitive customer interactions with professionalism.
* Collaborate with external investigators and internal teams to drive positive outcomes.
* Maintain high standards of audit compliance, risk awareness, and reporting integrity.
* Contribute to a supportive team culture, participating in training, knowledge sharing, and capability uplift initiatives.
What we're looking for:
* Proven experience in insurance claims management and/or investigations.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
* Excellent communication skills — both written and verbal.
* A customer-first mindset with a resilient and professional approach to sensitive or challenging conversations.
* Familiarity with investigative or legal frameworks related to insurance is desirable.
* Qualifications in investigations or insurance (desirable).
