Role Description/Criteria
St Christopher's Catholic Primary School, Glen Waverley invites applications from qualified, motivated and passionate teachers for the position of Physical Education teacher. This is a 0.41 ongoing position for the start of the 2026 school year.
Knowledge and expertise in implementing MACS Vision for Instruction and a demonstrated ability to liaise independently with students, staff and families with confidence and professionalism will be highly regarded.
The successful applicant will demonstrate the following criteria:
* a strong commitment to the Catholic Identity of the school
* a commitment to maintaining positive and caring relationships with students, staff and parents
* the ability to organise and run whole school sporting events (enrolment classes)
* excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* the ability to plan and implement a structured Physical Education program
* expertise in the area of Sport/Physical Education
* the capacity to cater for a range of student needs through differentiation
* strong collaboration and a team oriented approach to implementing programs.

Special Requirements
A degree as a qualified teacher
Current VIT registration
A commitment to the ethos of Catholic Education
Child Safety - be familiar with and comply with the schools child safe policy and code of conduct and any other policies and procedures relating to child safety.
