Our extensive menu features freshly made sushi, sashimi, hand rolls, bento boxes, ramen, poke bowls, tempura, and noodle dishes – catering to dine-in, takeaway, and delivery customers. We operate seven days a week and also partner with Uber Eats, DoorDash, and other platforms to make our food accessible to a wide customer base.

About the Role
Yi Sushi is seeking an experienced and passionate Chef to join our team at our Beeliar location. This is a full-time role, offering a competitive salary package and the opportunity to be part of a growing, modern Japanese dining brand.
As our Chef, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining kitchen standards, and working closely with the team to deliver consistent, fresh, and authentic food to our customers.
What You'll Do
Preparing and cooking a variety of Japanese and Asian-inspired dishes with precision and consistency
Ensuring strict adherence to food safety and hygiene standards
Supporting menu development and contributing creative ideas to improve offerings
Supervising and training junior kitchen staff when required
Managing stock rotation, monitoring inventory, and assisting with ordering supplies
Maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment
Assisting the Head Chef and management team with smooth day-to-day operations
What We're Looking For
Minimum 2–3 years' experience as a Chef in a fast-paced kitchen
Strong knowledge of Japanese cuisine and cooking techniques is highly regarded
Relevant culinary training or certification is desirable
Ability to work well under pressure and consistently deliver high-quality dishes during peak service hours
Good communication and teamwork skills
Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
