How you'll make an impact
In the role of a Technical Manager you will provide professional and personalised technical support to the South Australian - Workerspensation Operations, for the South Australianmunity on behalf of Return to Work SA.
The Technical Manager is responsible for providing technical support to the SA Operations, acting as a Subject Matter Expert for internal stakeholders, the role is additionally responsible acting as a technical reference point & providing coaching and advice in accordance with local legislation and business unit procedures.
On a day to day basis you will:
1. Provide subject matter expert knowledge for internal technical training sessions as requested to ensure formal determinations are made in a timely manner
2. Assisting the claims teams in their achievement of KPIs & Service guidelines
3. Review and provide feedback about current claim management practices and procedures
4. Support the development of strategic initiatives and procedures to ensure all service, performance andpliance measures are achieved
5. Build and maintain strong collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders
6. Assisting with the maintenance of organisationalpliance with legal,ernance and client requirements
7. Facilitate and participate in the quarterly Technical Update Forum and the creation of the monthly technical newsletter
About you
We are interested in hearing from people who have:
8. Workerspensation, Insurance or Service Industry Experience
9. Demonstrated technical claims management experience
10. Experience in coaching and supporting others
11. Knowledge of the Return to Work Act 2014 and associated case law
12. Developed technical knowledge regarding claims strategies
13. Previous experience as a technical specialist within all claim management segments
