Our client is a rapidly growing international FMCG business. With strong values and a vision for continued expansion, they are seeking a skilled finance professional to join their Melbourne-based team.
The Role
This is a hands-on Finance Manager position, reporting to the Head of Finance. The role will lead a small team, manage financial reporting requirements across multiple entities, and ensure compliance with accounting, taxation, and audit obligations. It also provides the opportunity to work closely with senior stakeholders and play a key role in supporting ongoing business growth.
Responsibilities
* Lead, mentor and guide finance team members
* Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions
* Manage monthly close processes and group consolidations
* Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting
* Coordinate annual statutory audits and external advisors
* Support tax compliance, including transfer pricing and income tax returns
* Partner with senior stakeholders and global HQ on financial matters
* Drive process improvements and contribute to ad hoc projects
The Candidate
* Must have experience with Group Consolidation processes.
* CA or CPA qualified with a degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline
* Prior exposure to FMCG or consumer goods is highly regarded however not essential
* Strong knowledge of accounting standards, tax compliance and audit processes
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
* Fluency in Mandarin essential
